Christoph Hanisch studied Mathematics and Applied Physics at the University of Düsseldorf.
His PhD on basic aspects of ferromagnetism laid the foundation for his work for research in material testing and in sensor technology, MEMS devices and functional materials. His industrial experience focused on research of new technologies relevant for future applications in automation. He worked at the research department of the family owned enterprise Festo. He has many years of experience in doing industrial research and applying the results to factory technology and factory organization. Since the 1st of January he is retired and works as an independent consultant.
